No olvidemos que en aquella \u00e9poca (finales de los setenta y principios de los ochenta) triunfaban en el cine los extraterrestres buenos, cuyo prototipo, <i>ET,<\/i> arroj\u00f3 de cabeza a toda una generaci\u00f3n a las garras de opi\u00e1ceos como la hero\u00edna, o los ositos de peluche gamberretes tipo <i>Gremlins<\/i> y sus suced\u00e1neos. Por ese motivo Gregory Pez, seud\u00f3nimo del afamado ensayista, poeta, director de cine, pintor, fot\u00f3grafo, inventor, jardinero, porn\u00f3grafo y, en definitiva, hombre del renacimiento, Gregorio L\u00f3pez \u00abBytheseashore\u00bb L\u00f3pez se vio obligado a malvenderse a una peque\u00f1a editorial donde public\u00f3 sus 17 libros de terror y sexo que componen el mal llamado \u00abCiclo del doctor P\u00e9rez\u00bb.<\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\nSeis son las novelas m\u00e1s importantes de ese ciclo:<\/div>\n<div>\n(1982) <i>El doctor P\u00e9rez contra la suegra del doctor Vega.<\/i><\/div>\n<div>\n(1984) <i>Lo que sucedi\u00f3 all\u00ed.<\/i><\/div>\n<div>\n(1985) <i>Lo que no sucedi\u00f3 all\u00ed.<\/i><\/div>\n<div>\n(1988) <i>El doctor P\u00e9rez contra la hija de la suegra del doctor Vega.<\/i><\/div>\n<div>\n(1993) <i>\u00bfD\u00f3nde est\u00e1 el doctor P\u00e9rez? Est\u00e1 all\u00ed.<\/i><\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\nY por encima de las anteriores, la obra maestra indiscutible:<\/div>\n<div>\n(1999) <i>El doctor P\u00e9rez ya no est\u00e1 all\u00ed, est\u00e1 aqu\u00ed.<\/i><\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\nTres a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, el propio Gregorio L\u00f3pez \u00abBytheseashore\u00bb L\u00f3pez escribe un guion cinematogr\u00e1fico y dirige la adaptaci\u00f3n f\u00edlmica titulada:<\/div>\n<div>\n(2002) <i>El doctor P\u00e9rez, la criatura, el doctor Vega y su suegra son unos tontos, los cuatro<\/i>. (Estudios Frailecillo Films SL), El argumento trata sobre las hechos ocurridos durante el tiempo que el doctor P\u00e9rez trata de quitarse un esparadrapo de un dedo.
